Thank you, Arielle and Darby, for an incredible weekend in a magical place. I enjoyed the create and flow classes, the wonderful music, delicious food and wine. The best part was meeting new people and sharing our stories. I am so grateful for the experience, it was the best thing I had done for myself in a long time. Keep Creating and Flowing!
- Maria (June 2019) I was truly moved, inspired & felt totally comfortable being myself the whole weekend! It is an experience I will always remember & cherish! Thank you for sharing your gifts with us and allowing me to be a part of it! Looking forward to many more amazing experiences together!
- Robyn (June 2018) Nestled in a sweet, escape in nature, I opened up myself to the deep work of being willing to go to the center of my own being. Through the guidance and love of Arielle Silver, Darby Orr, and Alexa Shore for three days, I was brought closer to exploring and honoring my own identity. And I connected with souls on the same spiritual path, who offered so much depth and their own vulnerabilities. They brought me closer to my own humanness. A magical community was created! This experience solidified how I want to continue to show up emotionally and spiritually for myself, my loved ones, and the world. And how I want to enjoy the simplest things like sunsets. I am deeply grateful for this community. Looking forward to the next one!

--- Stephanie (January 2018) R E F L E C T I O N : Last week we spent a weekend in beautiful Ojai on a yoga and creative writing retreat. Being nestled in nature and surrounded by loved ones and connecting with many new kindred spirits on a similar spiritual journey, it reignited how important it is to take care of yourself, to LOVE with the most open heart, to believe in yourself and your curiosities, and continue to embrace the meaningful synchronicities of life. .
“I no longer force things What flows, flows. What crashes, crashes. I only have space and energy For the things that are Meant for me.” --- Selma (January 2018) A dreamy place to go and work with Arielle and Darby! - Connie (June 2018) The Create and Flow Yoga and Creative Writing Retreat was like a bubble of solitude in which I was able to reconnect with myself. All of my responsibilities and stresses of being a mommy, a wife, a teacher slowly melted away as I inhaled the fresh air and realized time slowed down. My monkey mind quieted down, and my breath slowed and deepened. The sunrises looked more beautiful than usual, the sun looked more vibrant, the garden was full of a multitude of bright colored trees, shrubs, fruit. Life was brighter. As I dug deeper into my soul, the world around me became brighter. My gratitude for the simple things grew, and I was able to ponder what I was curious about, what I wanted to strive for in this life of mine. The yoga and the creative writing activities seemed to work in unison to help me focus my energy on who I truly am, and what I want to focus my energy on in the future. Even an introvert like myself connected with like-minded souls whose paths collided at the retreat. Perhaps we were all meant to be there to help each other along our paths, to open our hearts, and to be more aware of synchronicities around us in this world. A weekend of soul searching, self-discovery, and friendships wrapped in a blanket of natural beauty in the oasis of Ojai.
--- Chandra (January 2018) Arielle and Darby,
I send you much gratitude for a wonderful day that put "creativity" in a new light for me. I came away thinking that I should have a Creative Practice alongside my Yoga Practice. I can find and apply my creativity, not just in an art form but I also in my day-to-day life. I can figure out a creative replacement to the missing ingredient in a recipe; I can find a way to do a work presentation in a different creative way; I can plate my dinner so that it looks like a work of art (think Arielle's beautiful salad at lunch!) Keep up the inspiration! --- Michele (May 2017) Side planking in Topanga Canyon this weekend where phones were tucked away and replaced with writing, talking and EATING. Thank you again to Darby and Arielle for leading such a relaxing, awakening and insightful day! 🌟 I'm saving my pennies for Ojai!
--- Leah (May 2017) Arielle, Three years ago.. or so, I took your unleashing creativity yoga workshop, the last thing you suggested we do was write our dream day if money and time were no object. I wrote wake up early, around sunrise, drink a latte and paint, then submerse myself into a culture I know nothing about and gather around a bonfire and have dinner and dance. I am currently in Nepal, a country I didn't even know how to spell correctly or where it was in November when I heard about this opportunity. Today, I woke up at sunrise and walked 3 blocks to a restaurant who served me coffee and I painted their wall for 12 hours. They served me all of my meals and after I was done, they gave me a glass of whiskey and one of the singers dedicated a song to me while they all cheersed and taught me bits about their culture. Three years ago I didn't know this was possible, only a dream I never really thought would come to fruition, but I started making myself a latte every morning anyway on some off chance that would help me become happier. Thank you for influencing my perspective and my world. I don't know how to fully express my gratitude for what has happened with my life, but I hope that by spreading love and joy through painting and art, I can help another realize they also deserve happiness and love. Thank you thank you thank you.
