Los Angeles-based Arielle Silver (MFA, eRYT-500, YACEP), is co-creator of Bhavana Flow Yoga, a style of yoga that incorporates self-awareness and visualization in conjunction with a flowing physical asana practice. Deeply inspired by yogic philosophy and the vinyasa/hatha traditions, her teaching incorporates a body-positive holistic approach, drawing on anatomy and alignment alongside breath, mindset, storytelling, and more.
A vinyasa practitioner since 2000 and philosophy-based holistic yoga teacher since 2009, Arielle works with private clients and leads yoga classes and workshops at studios, corporate offices, community events, and women's shelters. With her partner, composer Darby Orr, she has co-led Create & Flow retreats since 2016. In addition to yoga, Arielle Silver is a nationally touring singer and songwriter, Senior Lecturer in creativity studies and creative writing at Antioch University, and President of Folk Alliance Region West (FAR-West). She earned her MFA in Creative Writing at Antioch University Los Angeles, and holds degrees in Psychology from Brandeis University, and Clarinet and Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. Her teaching draws on lessons learned from many teachers along her multidimensional path, and the belief that a creative life is a happy life. www.ariellesilver.com |
